A special study published this week in the prestigious journal Forbes reveals that CBD helps treat dogs suffering from osteoarthritis.
The report said: “While the group of dogs receiving a placebo showed no improvement at the end of the trial period, the dogs receiving CBD showed significant improvements in their mobility and quality of life.” “I admit I was surprised how quickly we saw positive results” said Dr. Matthew Halpert who led the trial.
It is important to know: the world already has hundreds of reports of use of CBD for animals and the trend will surely intensify following this study. What’s more, it’s the exact same CBD that’s also for humans. The only difference is in the dose – the dog’s weight, for example, is usually about a quarter of its owner’s weight and therefore the amount of CBD should be accordingly.
One or two drops on the dog’s tongue should be enough.
